The World Record in Ice Diving has been Set at "The Arctic Circle" Dive Centre!
On March 5, 2016, the divers of the Russian Geographical Society set the world record in ice diving at the White Sea. "The Arctic Circle" Dive Centre's specialists took part in the optimal diving techniques elaboration and provided the necessary infrastructure.
The divers have made a 102 meters deep dive. The dive time was about 80 minutes at a water temperature of -1.5°C. The record was set by Bozhana Ostojic, a member of the Jacques-Yves Cousteau team, a member of the Board of Directors of the World Confederation of Underwater Activities.
