Closing of the Winter Season
Our sports team of sled dogs and their mushers has completed this year's winter competition season.
The final races were the Championship and Youth Championship of Karelia in sled dog sports, along with the "Night Twenty," which took place on March 16 in Petrozavodsk.
The Arctic Circle team returned with medals and beautiful photos from the races. The dogs and mushers are gradually transitioning out of the winter training schedule and preparing for the summer season.
However, for at least two more weeks, you still have the chance to enjoy sled rides while the cool weather lasts and the trails maintain excellent snow cover!
Medals of the Polar Circle Team:
- 2nd place - Maria Prozorova, 4-dog sprint, Karelia Championship
- 1st place - Ilya Titov, 6-dog sprint, Karelia Championship
- 1st place - Ilya Titov, 6-dog sprint, Night Twenty
