Puppies have been born in our sled dog kennel!
We are happy to announce the arrival of the newborn “Arctic” sled puppies in our dog kennel.
The dog named Rysya - the super leader of our sports harness (the one on the left, with the bright-blue eyes in the second photo) - and Elf -young but promising sportsman in mono-disciplines and sprint distance harness (white-and-black dog in the third photo on the left) - became parents.
The young mother gave birth to two girls and six boys, all the puppies are healthy and adorable, pleasing to the eye with their variety of colours - from pale to clear black.
We’ve been pondering newborn names for a while, but we made up our minds pretty quickly - most of the puppies received the names of people who were directly involved in bringing them into the world and were near them during the first few days of their lives. That’s how we got our four-legged Maks, Enot (Racoon), Masher and Lita. The rest got their names due to their appearance or character - Express and Grizzly, and in honor of people who inspire us: Lance - in honor of the famous Iditarod racer - Lance Mackey and Viktor - in honor of our compatriot - polar explorer Viktor Ilyich Boyarsky, who crossed the Antarctica on a dog sled. The latter, was delighted to learn about the appearance of his namesake.
The birth of the puppies happened during the Canine program “Arctic Friend Level 2” of our kids camp, and, a few days later, the children were presented to the newborns.
The participants of the camp program “Arctic Friend PRO” are already taking care of the puppies, following the early sensory stimulation program, which we’ll tell more about in our next publications.
